KCMA Wins NAHB Green Building Award for Advocate of the Year
NAHB recognized KCMA as the group that has "done the most to transform the residential green building market" with its Environmental Stewardship Program.

KCMA Gives "Green Light" to Suppliers

The Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) now will offer Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) certification to cabinet industry suppliers, in addition to cabinet manufacturers.

KCMA ESP Program Updates Certification Standards

Key Points:

  • California's Air Resource Board standards will be adopted into the Environmental Stewardship Program
  • Points can be earned by using hardwood, softwood and plywood from a sustainable forestry program
  • Mandatory written statement of environmental commitment required for certification
